    Inspection outcomes/quality awards
The Maidenhead Children’s Centre Hub awaits inspection (as at April 2016).
    Feedback and complaints procedure
Parents/carers are actively encouraged to offer their views on services. There are suggestion boxes located in each children’s centre, some children’s centres have ‘parent views trees'. We run regular consultations using our email database of registered parents and ‘face to face’ conversation’. The borough’s ‘making a complaint and compliment’ leaflet is available in all our children’s centres.
RBWM Children's Centre Complaints Policy can be found under 'Useful documents' to the right of the page.
How will I know my child/ young person will be safe using this service?
Children’s centres in the borough are inspected under the Ofsted framework. As part of our quality assurance schedule we complete regular health & safety audits, each children’s centre has an operational risk assessment and before each session staff complete a health & safety check. We have a children’s centre safeguarding policy and conduct an annual safeguarding audit. There is a manager trained in ‘safer recruitment’ on every interview panel and the staff responsible for recruiting volunteers have completed safer recruitment training. Each children’s centre hub holds a central register ensuring DBS and safeguarding training is kept up-to-date.
On the occasions when we have children’s centre outings/family fun days we complete have a unique risk assessment relevant to the event.
