Triple P Parenting Courses

Courses are held during the day and evening and at weekends.

For details on the next course running, with its application dates and times, please contact the parenting team.

Triple P "Positive Parenting" Programme can help you to:

  • Create a stable, supportive, harmonious family environment
  • Teach children the skills they need to get along with others
  • Deal positively, consistently and decisively with problem behaviour should it arise
  • Encourage desirable behaviour

It can help parents develop realistic expections of their children and themselves and take care of themselves as a parent.

There are courses aimed at parents with children in primary school and senior school.

Parents attend 4 group sessions which take place weekly followed by 2 individual telephone sessions (each lasting 15-30 minutes) and a final group session.

The courses are open to dads, mums, or key carers of 1-12 year olds or teens (separate groups) living in the Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead

Parents must be willing to commit to all sessions and have identified at least one aspect of their child's behaviour (or of their own parenting) that they would like to change or improve upon.

All potential participants will be visited at home to discuss their individual needs and to talk about the programme further, (time permitting).
