East Berkshire Down Syndrome Support Group

The East Berkshire Down Syndrome Support Group (EBDSSG) is a group of parents and carers in and around East Berkshire who care for children and young people with Down Syndrome.

We are a voluntary group and meet up on a regular basis to share information, pull together ideas, organise social and fundraising events, discuss topical issues and offer invaluable support and re-assurance. We are all 'experts' in the field of Down Syndrome and have lots of tips and helpful advice to share.

The main aim of our Group is to offer support. We share information and talk about personal experiences which we hope, by sharing, will make life a little bit easier. We are always keen to speak to new people who may wish to join us.

As well as structured Groups such as Speech Therapy, Dance & Drama and Social Groups, we also arrange family days out, meals, theatre trips, play sessions, coffee mornings and various other activities throughout the year.
