Who are Grow Our Own?

Grow Our Own is supported by The Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead.

We provide support, advice, guidance and training to local residents who want to find employment in their home area. Our aim is to match local people to local jobs, whatever their background or circumstances, at every skill level – from junior operative to senior executive.

Who can use our services?

Anyone who needs help into work and particularly those who may be finding it difficult, such as:

  • Lone parents
  • People who have been made redundant
  • School leavers
  • Adults with mental health issues or moderate learning difficulties
  • Older people
  • Ex-offenders
  • Those who want to develop their career in a different direction

Our aim is to help local employers recruit and retain the best in Windsor and Maidenhead by providing them with the local workforce they need.

Grow our Own also provide advice about apprenticeships.  Vacancies for local Apprenticeships is also available on the http://www.growourown.co.uk

There is no formal referral process. You can contact us either via email, telephone or drop in.

There is no waiting list and all are welcome.
